Howard Zinn – Marx in Soho

A one person show, beautifully written by  historian Howard Zinn, and very effectively  performed  by African-American actor and activist Brian Jones.

Author of “A People’s History of the United States,” Zinn  uses the character of Karl Marx to restate the case for Communism.

Outraged over the misinterpretation of his social theory, Marx (Jones) is granted a respite from the afterlife to return to Earth and restate his philosophical case, defend the ideals of communism from the dehumanized version of it practiced in the former Soviet Union and to defend humanity from capitalism.
